C.CAWDU’s Monthly Meeting Focuses on Reports and Minimum Wage Negotiations

The Coalition of Cambodian Apparel Workers Democratic Union (C.CAWDU) held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, September 9th, led by President Mr. Kong Athit. The meeting took place in Phnom Penh, attended by numerous local union leaders.

The meeting had three main objectives:

1. **Reporting**: Each local union leader provided updates on their activities and progress over the past month.

2. **Discussion on Minimum Wage**: Participants actively discussed and exchanged opinions on the negotiation process for the 2026 minimum wage, which will be decided in the near future.

3. **Preparation for the Annual Meeting**: The meeting also raised preparations for the union alliance’s 2025 Annual General Meeting, which is scheduled to take place soon.

The meeting concluded smoothly with a collective commitment to continue working to promote the rights and interests of employees.
