KSBSI Holds Evaluation and Joint Work Program Plan with ACV-CSC Belgium

JAKARTA – The All-Indonesian Trade Union Confederation (KSBSI) held another Work Program Evaluation and Planning Meeting with its international partner ACV-CSC International in Jakarta, February 16-18, 2026.

This meeting was a follow-up to the previous meeting, the 5-year work program evaluation and planning workshop between ACV-CSCi and WSM Belgium, held on Thursday (January 22, 2026) in Jakarta. The aim was to evaluate the previous year’s work program and develop a work program plan for 2026-2031, specifically regarding strengthening decent work for KSBSI members and Indonesian workers.

In her opening remarks, KSBSI President Elly Rosita Silaban emphasized the importance of the federation’s participation in the evaluation and planning of the ACV-CSC program, noting that this program is instrumental in organizational development, particularly in enhancing federation capacity, influencing national policy, and so forth.

“We hope that our fellow decision-makers from the federation will participate in this event, evaluate and plan future programs, and provide input and solutions to challenges facing labor issues in the future,” said Elly.

The agenda included a program orientation delivered by Heri Susilo, covering the routines of the national ACV program and highlighting the reporting mechanism.

This was followed by a presentation by Maria Emeninta on the 2027-2031 program, which covered six priority issues going forward: labor regulations, wages, employment relations and the labor market, digital technology, KSBSI organizational capacity, gender, and climate change.

On the same occasion, Maria Emeninta also presented the evaluation and work plan for the 2026 ACV Regional program. On the second day, Martua Raja Siregar presented on the ACV National work plan.

Representatives from 13 KSBSI affiliate federations were also present, along with Jeroen Johan K. Roskams, the coordinator of the ACV International Belgium program, who also attended online. (RED/Handi)
