The 114th session of the International Labour Conference (ILC) will take place from June 1 to 12, 2026, at the International Labour Organization (ILO) Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
This annual event brings together thousands of tripartite delegates (governments, workers, and employers) from 187 countries to formulate global labor policies and standards.
The 114th ILC’s Main Focus: This year’s session highlights several strategic agenda items related to the world of work:
- Platform Economy: Discussing protections, rights, and standards for workers in the digital realm.
- Gender Equality: Developing a transformative agenda to create a fair and equitable work environment.
- Global Crisis & Worker Protection: Discussing the challenges of adapting to labor amidst global economic uncertainty.
ACVi Asia Delegation Participation
ACVi Asia also sent a delegation of Maria Emeninta, the Regional Coordinator for ACVi in Asia. She will assist in amplifying and monitoring workers’ voices, including evaluating the implementation of labor standards, evaluating domestic labor conditions, including the implementation of laws, enforcing trade union regulations, and protecting basic workers’ rights.
