On August 8, 2025, the Royal Government of Cambodia submitted the third Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC 3.0) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Through NDC 3.0, for the first time, social protection measures are included, aiming at contributing to address climate change, in particular for supporting poor, vulnerable, and at-risk population adaptive capacity and building their climate resilience in line with the National Social Protection Policy Framework 2024-2035 and the Guideline on the Shock Responsive Social Protection.
